We would love to meet you at one of our Sunday services, and if you’re looking to make Red Church home, there are a number of other ways you can get connected. Watch the video below to find out more.

Before you get involved in anything else at Red the best thing you can do is attend a Newcomers Gathering. These events are designed for people who are new (a relative term!) to Red, offering core information about who we are and what God is doing amongst us, as well as a chance to connect socially. Meet ministry leaders, connect with others and find out the next steps in making Red home. For more information, submit the Connect form below.

Next Newcomers Gathering: Sunday July 16, straight after the 10am service

Small Groups

As a result of an increase in growth across our services, and in response to God’s leading us to develop a stronger discipleship culture at Red Church, we are currently exploring a new model for discipleship and connection. We are excited about re-shaping our approach to Small Groups to allow for stronger discipleship, fellowship, Bible study and application, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

During this time we will not be starting new Small Groups, rather, we encourage people to be meeting together in Triad arrangements to read and be read by the Word together. Triads meet around a passage of scripture and ask three questions: 1) What does this say about God? 2) What does this say about humanity? 3) If this is true, how will it shape my life this week? Take the initiative to grab two others from Red and start your own Triad, or if you’d like help starting or joining a Triad, fill in the Connect Form below.

Nothing makes you feel more connected to a community than getting involved. Volunteering allows people to explore their gifts, make connections and contribute to what God is doing through the Church. Every ministry area of Red is supported by volunteers – from maintaining the buildings to leading worship; welcoming people at services, running kids ministry, making coffee and leading prayer nights. To find out more about volunteering, come along to the next Newcomers’ Gathering or submit the Connect form below.

Absolute, consistent dependency on God is what enables the Church to bear fruit that lasts. Red is committed to seeking God’s will for the Church through prayer, and acknowledges the transforming power of prayer in individual lives. Our Prayer Team is available for prayer at Sunday Services, and can arrange for prayer ministry outside of this time. If you’d like to get in touch with the Prayer Team please submit the Connect form below.

Playgroup runs out of Red Blackburn South every Monday morning. Mums and Dads with children aged 0-3 years are welcome to come along to connect in a kid-friendly environment. Playgroup meets from 10am-12pm in the Cottage (43 Orchard Grove Blackburn South). Families are asked to bring a gold coin donation per session, or $20 for a full term. BYO food for kids, morning tea provided for parents (no nuts please). Contact Sue at sue@redchurch.org.au. (Please note: playgroup does not run during school holidays or on Victorian public holidays.)

Fill in a Connect Card at one of our Sunday services, or use this form to get in touch. We look forward to connecting with you!
