We would love to meet you at one of our Sunday services, and if you’re looking to make Red Church home, there are a number of other ways you can get connected. Read below to consider what your next step might be – and get in touch if we can help you take it!
Whether you’re interested in learning more about us or ready to make Red Church home, a Newcomers event is your first step. Held periodically, these events are designed to help you learn more about Red, ask any questions you might have and get connected.
The next Newcomers event is: TBC
If you’ve occasionally come to worship with us on Sundays, your next step is to become a more regular part of our community. We find that it can take six weeks of turning up to get a feel for a new community, and often a good year of deepening your attendance and involvement before you really feel at home. Your regular presence at worship services helps to build not only your sense of fellowship, but that of others too – whereby our connecting with Christ provides an anchor for us to connect with each other.
If you regularly attend Sunday services at Red Church, we encourage you to take the next step and join the team in serving the church. Serving as a volunteer allows you to outwork your gifts, make connections and contribute to what God is doing through the church. Every ministry area of Red is supported by volunteers – from maintaining the buildings to leading worship; welcoming people at services, running kids ministry, making coffee and leading prayer.
If you call Red Church home and are part of a volunteer team, we’d love you to be part of a discipleship group. Meeting regularly with other believers from your church family provides opportunity and accountability to deepen your growth as a disciple of Christ, enjoy fellowship together, study and apply the Bible, and actively participate in the ministry of the Holy Spirit. If you haven’t been part of a group at Red before, a great first step is to join a DNA Group which meets over 10 weeks to explore Red’s core teaching and what it means to be a disciple of Jesus in our world today.
New to faith?
Each year we run Alpha, a 12-week course exploring life and the Christian faith in an open, friendly and informal environment. If you want to understand more about following Jesus, we would love to host you at the next round of Alpha.

Our Prayer Team is available for prayer at Sunday Services, and can arrange for prayer ministry outside of this time. If you’d like to get in touch with the Prayer Team please submit the Connect form below.
